Marcus Petz presents our Econet Action Plan at the IASC Commons, 2025.VI.16-20. Congratulations!
- Econet is a culture of responsibility for ourselves, our society and our environment.
- Consequently, Econet is a growing worldwide community which helps us all work together as both ecological thinkers and ecological practitioners.
As citizen scientists, we are developing and applying empathy to learn about ourselves, our society and our environment. We have three teams which meet every other week by zoom.
- Andrius Kulikauskas leads us at Theory Translator in collecting examples of conceptual frameworks - dichotomies, trichotomies, tetrachotomies - especially those that illustrate the three minds in each of us: answering, questioning, investigating. We're learning to recognize these three minds in ourselves and other thinkers. We're deciding when to meet.
- Marcus Petz leads us in collecting and systemizing the ways economists figure things out, recognizing in economics the dialogue of the three minds, and understanding community economics within or beyond that. Zoom meetings are Thursdays at 15:00 UCT, 17:00 Finland, 18:00 Kenya.
- Jere Northrop leads us in organizing citizen scientists to create and study miniature ecosystems (TimberFish table top units). How do these ecosystems solve problems? How do they figure things out? Do they exhibit the three minds? Can we thereby empathize with them and other ecosystems?

Hosts and Founders
Marcus Petz is the organizer and host of Econet, reaching out for meaningful inclusion.
Econet cofounder Jere Northrop is an ecotechnology pioneer and a founder of TimberFish Technologies. This is an important opportunity, both for large organizations (Ecologically Integrated Agriculture) and for individual do-it-yourselfers (TimberFish Table Top Unit), which our econet can organize around.
Econet cofounder Andrius Kulikauskas is an organizer of independent thinkers, the founder of Math 4 Wisdom, and an investigator of Wondrous Wisdom.
Contact us if you would like to think and work together.
