Hivitalo’s Open Call for exhibitions and events 2025 opens in January!

The exhibition and event application for Hirvitalo will be published on 7.1, so follow our communication!
The theme of the 2025 search for Hirvitalo at the Pispala Modern Arts Center is MEMORY OF PLACE. The theme is meant to be guidelines and inspiration for the search, and you can also make a suggestion on a different topic.
In search we emphasize the search for events in addition to exhibitions. You can suggest an art or culture program for a house, yard stage or a garden that respects the permacultural mindset of the yard, which are used especially in the summer.
Exhibition and event applications for Hirvitalo are open until 31.1.2025 and exhibition selections will be made during February. The exhibition hours you can apply for are from April to December 2025. Exhibition spaces do not charge rent. Exhibitors will be paid a cost-based compensation, the size of which will be announced later in the spring.

The theme of Pispala Center of Contemporary Art Hirvitalo’s 2025 open call is THE MEMORY OF PLACE The theme is intended as a guideline and an inspiration, and applications can also be based on other topics.
In addition to exhibitions we emphasise event applications. You can propose art or cultural program to the house, the yard stage or in our garden based on permaculture knowledge, which are in use especially during the summer.
The application for exhibitions and events at Hirvitalo is open until January 31st 2025, and the selections are made during February.
The exhibition times that are now being applied for range from between April and December 2025. No rent is charged for the exhibition spaces. Exhibitors will be paid an expense-based compensation, the amount of which will be announced later in the spring.
